What makes my work so special? What is my story?I began creating these works of art in the fall of 2019. I was diagnosed with Conversion Disorder and Pseudo Seizures due to the combat related post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that I sustained during my two deployments to Iraq (2004 -2007). A gentleman by the name of Greg, founder of "A Call To Shoulders" who helps veterans like myself, paid a visit to me in the hospital and wanted to take me under his wing. He provided me with the knowledge and resources to create such beautiful pieces of art and sets veterans up with success. I took his knowledge and the skill I have learned to buy my first lathe and tools of my own. I purchased a new home and set up shop in my basement. Please understand that this is a blessing and therapeutic for me. Because of my condition, I can no longer drive tractor-trailers after a 26 year career. Now I have time and the will to make any one of these items just for you.
I guarantee top quality material and quality time in each and every item I create. Your purchase will help me survive and help other veterans with PTSD. With each purchase you make, I will donate a portion of the proceeds to help out other veterans who are in the "A Call To Shoulders" program.
